My camcorder has an S-video, and I bought a piece of string, but I can still import the video on my computer. Any advice appreciated.

If you have a laptop with S-video - do not get their hopes up, that's only output, not input. Laptops with S-Video inputs are available, but in the very high price levels, which are not "normal". Johnny

Samsung Galaxy Note shatters Korean LTE sales record, doing just fine in the US

The Samsung Galaxy Note Phablet (think smartphone/tablet) is offered in either Ceramic White or Carbon Blue, and is exclusive to the AT&T 4G LTE wireless system. That 4G smartphone recently underwent a retail price reduction at select retailers, and is currently available for $229 with a standard new two-year activation and data plan on the AT&T 4G network. The handset has just reached the 2 million units sold mark in Korea, and that achievement makes it the fastest selling LTE-based phone in Korean history. At Samsung’s most recent financial disclosing, they stated that the Galaxy Note was critical to allowing them to reach one of their most profitable financial quarters ever.
